Anyway, here are a few pictures of my 4 year olds bedroom. My husband built the bed originally for my oldest daughter but she has “grown out of it”. I explained what I wanted and he thought I was nuts but once it was built he admitted he really liked it. He has built all kinds of beds for my kids – my son had a truck bed and a car bed. We are actually getting ready to get rid of this one and he is going to build a princess bed of some sort.
I got the bedding for her for Christmas last year at Target. It was on sale for $14!
I go this dresser off of Freecycle. It was dark wood so I primed it with white Zinser primer. Then painted it with pink Wal-Mart brand satin paint and distressed it. It didn’t come with all the knobs and I didn’t like them anyway so I filled some holes with wood filler before priming and used ribbon for the handles. I love how it turned out.
I just tied a knot inside the drawer to hold ‘em.
My oldest daughter painted these a few years ago. They are perfect in Lianna’s room.
The other art came from Target.
And here she is making sure our guinea pig is nice and healthy!
My next post will be an update on my oldest daughter’s room. We are very close to being done – thank God!
